Hi all! Everyone have their costumes ready for Halloween? It's just around the corner now! I'm still not sure what to wear to work that night. The plaza I work in is having Trick-or-Treating that night for families, so I need to figure something out! This next challenge should definitely give you the much needed inspiration to get those Halloween pictures scrapped!!!

"I am Graciele, an electrical engineer and I am 31 years old. I live in Curitiba, Brazil with my wonderful hubby Gilson. I started scrapbooking just 1 year ago, and never stopped, it was love at first sight. Nowdays, I run my own business from home - an online store called Atelier Hashma. I also enjoy making cards and altered items, but scrapbooking is my favorite by far. I am also doing a lot more rubber stamping and punch-art. I enjoy learning new techniques and improving my own skills and I think we all improve with time. I am excited to be a part of this design team and hope to inspire others with my work."

"I'm Leah (the Orange), I'm a Canadian living in New Jersey for the last four years after marrying a crazy american artist/musician/teacher, and I have a feisty 16-year-old son who can be so much like me it's maddening! I'm 35 years old and still believe I'm 18. :D I love to express myself creatively through art and music (my husband and I are in a band called yearlongday), and I look for any excuse to stand out in a crowd. I was introduced to the world of cardmaking a few years ago when a penpal in England began to send me handmade cards. They were simple but very cute, and eventually I decided I needed to try my hand at this craft, because I really enjoyed receiving her cards in the mail. So just over 2 years ago, I started creating clean and simple holiday cards, with limited supplies and know-how, but it quickly grew into an obsession and now I can't possibly learn enough! I am always looking to try new techniques, and I've found that I really enjoy making ATCs and altering anything that seems, well, alterable (or not!). I love to turn layout sketches into cards, or incorporating strange found items into my projects, and I especially enjoy playing with COLOUR! Stamping, however, is my favourite element of cardmaking, hands down! I love to design and create, and I love to inspire others to get out of their comfort zones to try new things, so playing along on blogs and in other forums is very rewarding for me, because I can challenge others to play too! I am positively THRILLED to be a member of the Cafe Mojo Design Team! The rest of the DT are so very talented and creative, and I know I'm going to learn a lot during my term! "Hi, my name is Jocelyn and I began my love for paper crafting about 10 years ago!!! My Mom took me to a party for Card Making and the first card I made.... I was so excited and hooked from that point forward! I then stumbled into scrapbooking with the birth of my First Grandson Evan Matthew 7 years ago,and have never looked back!!! We added another Grandson to our wonderful family 20 months ago, Gavin Joseph, and now I have tons of inspiration from all the wonderful photos that I have!!! I just adore going into my scraproom and sitting down going through my photos, this is where a page starts for me! The time that I spend creating is so rewarding.....it helps to put life into perspective.....the memories and blessings of my life! Creating helps me to relax and slow down!!!! I have a super busy schedule...so a little ME time to create is my "Calgon Time"!!!!!! I am married to a wonderful man who supports me in my craft, and I even run my LO's by him and he offers suggestions...how cool is that!!! I am the mother to the most wonderful daughter!!! She and her husband have given me two beautiful grandchildren and of course I am Mommy to my furbaby Miss Cosmo.....named after Cosmo Cricket!!!!! I have so many wonderful friends, both in real life and on the net!!!! I just love visiting Blogs, getting inspired by all the great creations that I see, and of course...playing along with Challenges....These so help with the Mojo!!! I am so excited to work with this wonderful team and I can't wait to see what everyone creates!!!! I am super Positive and strive to find Happiness in all things....especially the small everyday moments!!!!! So let's get inspired and start creating!!!!!!"

"My name is Melissa Sackman and I have been making cards and scrapping for years now. I started out before it became so popular and I chuckle when I look at my early work. So simple. Well I've come a long way.Now there are so many manufactures of papers and embellishments out there to choose from that there is never enough time to do all the projects that I want to do.

I am a wife to George, a mother to two grown girls and stepmother to two grown boys and I have 5 beautiful grandchildren and two dogs. I have a gazillion family members so I never run out of subject matter for my layouts and I always need a card for one occasion or another. I spend as much time as possible in my studio and I am always up for trying a new technique and shareing what I do. I love bling and flowers, and use a lot of them in my work. I am of the beliefe that More Is Better. I am so pleased to be guest designer for Cafe Mojo this month and I can't wait to share my challenge projects with you."

Design Team Call for Cafe Mojo!!!!

Hi all!!!! Welcome back to another exciting week at Cafe Mojo!!!! Hope everyone has been having a good week soo far!!!! Mine has been quite eventful!!!

I would like to share a bit of big news with everyone today!!!

Here at Cafe Mojo, we have decided to have a...

DESIGN TEAM CALL!!!

For this call we ask that you...

1. Create something new of your choosing - whether it be a layout, a card, a mini album, or an altered item.

2. Send all your info to cafemojochallenges@yahoo.com.
Please remember to include your name, email address, a short bio about yourself and scrapping style, any past or present design teams, and any other information you might want to share with us!

This design team call will be for a term of 6 months starting in September and ending in February. Currently, we have a challenge every Friday. This may change in the future, but for now, it remains the same.

We cannot wait to start reviewing all the amazing projects!!!
Looking forward to hearing from all of you!!!
